Its not what you know...

Keima had their first official social last night; subsidised by the very generous leaving gift vouchers from our former colleagues.

We discussed the progress of our product plans and had some vigorous debate on the subjects of function and architecture: we stopped short of doodling on the back of napkins, but you get the picture.

One thing that is increasingly clear is the importance of locality and contacts. Fortuitously, Cardiff has a growing number of world class telecommunications projects, and we are getting great help with introductions and (social) networking.

This is an aspect I enjoy more than I expected: it is basically talking to interesting people about shared passions. However, I will never lose my love for coding; and of course there is much to do.
