KidzMouse

KidzMouse make mice for kids (go figure). I have ordered one for the Boy in the hope that less computer related supervision = more relaxation time for Daddy. I should say that it is because I believe computers are a worthy pastime for children, but I don’t so it isn’t.

I was particularly amused by the review on Dabs:

Danny Sugerman

BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Music | Doors manager Sugerman dies at 50

I am sad to hear that Danny Sugerman has died. I enjoyed his book "Wonderland Avenue" enormously and would recommend it (although his lifestyle was not for the faint hearted).

F.E.A.R.

F.E.A.R. is a rather nifty looking FPS in the Vivendi pipe-line. The E3 movie isn't hi-res, is in MPEG4 (you could use Quicktime), but is definately worth a look.

The pace was very lively, the graphics and physics look good, and I was very impressed by the genuine horror feel (especially the end), which was very reminiscent of Katsuhiro Ôtomo (creator of Akira) and the chilling Ringu. F.E.A.R. has a more modern horror feel than Doom III, which seems to be stuck in the 1980's.
